Eva Mendes loves her nipples

August 28, 2008 at 2:03 pm (Entertainment, News) (, , , , , , , )

Don’t worry Eva, we love them too. Americans are just too prudish. It’s a half second flash of titty. Come on!

“US actress Eva Mendes says she couldn’t be prouder of her controversial TV ad banned because it showed too much of her nipple.

“It makes me more proud,” Mendes said, referring to the ban on the ad.

The Ghost Rider star has done a number of nude shoots over the years, but said she was not worried the latest would overshadow her acting career.

“I’m sure if it was for some kind of independent brand that wasn’t as iconic as Calvin Klein, I don’t think I would have done it because that’s too much of a risk,” Mendes said. “(news)

Ducks Nuts licence suspended for getting underage girls drunk

August 28, 2008 at 1:59 pm (Australia, Crime, News, health) (, , , , , , , , )

Someone please tell me why girls this young are out and about only dressed in lingerie? It sure looks like the bar patrons and staff were trying to get them drunk enough to perform certain “activities”. The bar should get off so easy. They should lose their licence period.

“2 underage sisters dressed only in lingerie were hauled out of a bar by their mother after allegedly being served free alcohol by bar staff.

The girls, aged 16 and 17, were enticed to sit on the veranda of the Ducks Nuts pub in Darwin and “score” scantily dressed passers-by heading to the nearby Hookers’ Ball, the woman said.”(news)

Baby born on plane

August 28, 2008 at 1:47 pm (News, health) (, , , , , , )

An Indian woman gave birth to a healthy boy aboard a jet airliner while flying to Australia to reunite with her husband.

Judith Hamel, one of four doctors who helped deliver the six-pound baby aboard the Cathay Pacific flight from Hong Kong to the southern city of Adelaide, described the delivery as smooth.

“I think we all had fun once we knew it was all safe,” Hamel told Australian Broadcasting Corp. radio Wednesday.

The flight was diverted to the northern city of Darwin where the 29-year-old mother, Paramjit Kaur, from Punjab state in northwest India, and the baby were admitted to the Royal Darwin Hospital within two hours of the birth, a hospital spokeswoman said on customary condition of anonymity. (news)
