Those nuts aren’t meant for roasting

December 29, 2008 at 5:20 pm (Australia, Crime) (, , , , )

A woman has been charged with manslaughter after setting her husband’s genitals on fire as he slept. His twig and berries were doused with methylated spirits and then set ablaze by his angry wife. Maybe she didn’t know they were supposed to be “chestnuts over an open fire” not “open fire on his nuts”. Whatever he did, I don’t think any behavior can be justifiably punished by “death by fire started by burning your nuts”. Must have been truly painful for him. On top of this, the crazy bitch burned down most of her home and the neighbors, AND endangered her own children in the process. Yes, there were children in the house.

No more boobies?

December 29, 2008 at 5:05 pm (Australia, Politics) (, , , , )

Many popular beaches may soon become more conservative. A ban on topless sunbathing is in the works. That’s right. That means no more ogling boobies at the beach (one of my favorite pastimes). Politicians and religious entities are arguing whether baring one’s breasts counts as nudity, partial, or complete nudity is being banned. Hey if women want to show off their assets, I’m all for it. I say all women should rise up, right now, and go topless as a form of protest. Set them free ladies! I wanna see some giant knockers!

“If you’re on the beach do you want somebody with big knockers next to you when you’re there with the kids,” MP Paul Gibson. (link)

Download while you still can!

December 22, 2008 at 5:00 pm (Australia, Politics, Technology) (, , , , , , , )

Are you prepared to have your Internet filtered in the coming year? Well you should download while you still can. The government plans on blocking peer to peer traffic as well. This means no more BiTorrent, no more Limewire, no more illegal ‘free’ downloads. This is just another step in the government’s plan to censor content regardless of format. This is exactly a step towards a dictatorship or communistic approach just like in China. Remember all the blocked sites fiasco during the Olympics? Let’s hope our ISP’s and EFF stand up for our rights. What happened to our democracy?

So, law students are supposed to know the law, right?

December 19, 2008 at 7:27 pm (Australia, Crime, News) (, , , )

I don’t know where the mistakes can be pinpointed on this student. First she was having sex for money, to pay for tuition. Next she had sex with a professor and agreed to rough sex. Then she went to police to confess: 1. she was a prostitute, and 2. she had been assaulted by her last client. Um, I guess she didn’t know what’s legal and illegal. The results? Both professor and student were charged and pleaded no contest. The university is investigating. Guess who’s gonna be fired and expelled for not knowing the law, amongst other reasons?
