Man impregnates 30 women … wha?
By in vitro fertilization that is, and did I mention they were all lesbians? Wow, he must be a hands on kinda guy, you know grab it by the head and choke it. The generous donations have raised concerns over possible incest issues for the city of Adelaide. It’s highly possible that these children may intermix and problems may occur in the future. A few things to note. If his sperm was selected by 30 women, this says something about the women. They are all seeking the same kind of features for their children. I’m guessing the donor was tall, an athlete, and probably good looking. What does this say about the donor? Is he single, married? Why would he ‘give’ so often? Is the money really worth it? Now that I think of it, he’s probably some poor bastard trying to earn a few extra bucks.
Why doesn’t the clinic restrict the number of times someone donates and how often his sperm is used. This would prevent any chance of possible interbreeding. Guess the government should regulate this industry.
Virtual searches will test boundaries of privacy
Soon Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide airports will be equipped with high tech x-rays. What makes them so special is that they will have the ability to perform virtual strip searches on passengers. In the name of “national security” airport screeners soon will be oggling nude images of you on their screen trying to determine whether your tiny schlong is a weapon and whether your girlfriend’s silicon breasts are plastic explosives.
Concerned? You should be. Last time I checked the people working at the airport were high school drop outs getting paid the minimum wage. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Virtual strip searches + camera phone + celebrities = YouTube fame. Before you know it virtual strip searches won’t be invasive enough and actual physical strip searches will become necessary. Strangely only the attractive people will get searched … I’m going to fill out an application to be an airport screener right now.
Astonishing case of child neglect
3 people have been charged with neglecting 21 children in Northern Adelaide. 14 of the children were hospitalized due to malnutrition. Absolutely horrifying. Those poor children. At least now they are in better hands and getting 3 square meals a day. It boggles the mind how these parents could fail to provide for their own flesh and blood. What’s more concerning is how someone could get into this situation of having so many children to begin with. Criminals, the lot of them. I hope the magistrate throws the book at them.
Man denied oral sex, shoots woman in crotch
A man accused of shooting a woman in the crotch after asking her to perform oral sex has been acquitted of creating a risk of bodily harm.
But Laurie Edward Elliott, 54, of Fairfield Gardens in Adelaide, was today found guilty of threatening a person with a firearm and possessing a firearm without a licence.
District Court Judge David Lovell entered the verdicts following a trial without a jury and will hand down his reasons at a later date.
Crown prosecutor Sandy McDonald told the court at Elliott’s trial that the victim was shot in her car in January, 2006.
She said the woman had owed Elliott money and as part of the deal over her debt she was to drive Elliott whenever he needed transport. (news)
Patients affected by radiation scandal grows to more than 800
The number of patients affected by a bungle in their radiation treatment at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, has grown to more than 800.
An independent investigation is underway into radiation treatments for cancer patients at the RAH amid concerns that some were not getting an adequate dose for two years.
A check originally identified 720 patients who had been affected but further checks of hospital records have revealed another 114.
SA Health chief executive Tony Sherbon, said the independent review panel had already completed all of its field work, including interviews with staff and the checking of records.
“The review panel will now also look at these additional patients,” Dr Sherbon said. (news)
