That’s a ‘Man’, man!

December 10, 2008 at 2:51 pm (Crime, Sydney) (, , , , , )

Not every blond is a true blond. Especially if they forgot to shave. (What, what?!) Some bank robbers go to great lengths and forget the simple things. Take for example this Sydney bank robber. He’s goes to the effort to get a fitting black dress, matching stockings, and wig but forgets to shave. Doh! That’s a real deal breaker. Nobody is gonna believe you’re from the circus especially when you bust out your gun and yell, “this is a robbery!”

Witnesses say they noticed a strange man dressed up as a woman sitting outside of the bank. !!! Um hello! McFly! What the hell?! I guess this is just one of those things you should overlook in our very open and accepting society. Way to go dumbass! You could have prevented a robbery if you just did something rather than just stare at the strangely unattractive man/woman.

Burping gets 19 yr charged at police station

September 4, 2008 at 9:22 pm (Australia, Crime, News) (, , , , , , )

“A 19 year old man who allegedly burped in the face of administrative staff at a north Queensland police station has been charged with being a public nuisance.” (news)

Now there’s being rude and being stupid. This man was both. He probably had a problem with authority and women. Hopefully a harsh punishment will teach him some manners and respect for the law. Swearing and being openly disrespectful to police officers in public is one thing but right inside of the police station? Wow, just plain dumb.

Um, a little jealous? Man stabs wife 26 times

September 3, 2008 at 1:32 pm (Australia, Crime, News) (, , , , , )

“A MAN killed his estranged wife by stabbing her at least 26 times in a fit of jealous rage before trying to kill himself, a Brisbane court has been told.” (news)

Long storry short, Bob Rahim found out his wife Sabira was having an affair. The marriage was on the rocks and a split seemed imminent. During one evening he decided to spy on her and listen while she and her lover had sex. Apparently that was enough to drive him over the edge. He took a big knife and stabbed her 26 times. He tries to kill himself, fails miserably, then calls for an ambulance. Police arrive and discover the bloody mess.

Get this, he pleads “not guilty”. Wow, just wow. If the old insanity plea works here I’m going to lose complete faith in the justice system.

Dogs feeding on corpses in Northern Territory

August 20, 2008 at 2:19 pm (Australia, Environment, News) (, , , , , , , , )

A visitor to a town camp in the Northern Territory says he had to throw rocks at feral dogs who were feeding on the body of a dead man.

It is the second body witnesses say they have found being eaten by dogs in Hidden Valley town camp in the past three weeks, the Northern Territory News reports.

An Alice Springs man told the paper he was visiting his cousins at the camp when he came across the scene on Saturday morning.

“I saw three brown dogs having a feed of this bloke. They were down on the inside of his legs,” said the man, who did not want to be named.

“He was there lying on the ground. I hunted those dogs. I threw rocks at them and yelled at them to get away from the man.” (news)

Man denied oral sex, shoots woman in crotch

August 18, 2008 at 7:25 pm (Australia, Crime, News) (, , , , , , )

A man accused of shooting a woman in the crotch after asking her to perform oral sex has been acquitted of creating a risk of bodily harm.
But Laurie Edward Elliott, 54, of Fairfield Gardens in Adelaide, was today found guilty of threatening a person with a firearm and possessing a firearm without a licence.

District Court Judge David Lovell entered the verdicts following a trial without a jury and will hand down his reasons at a later date.

Crown prosecutor Sandy McDonald told the court at Elliott’s trial that the victim was shot in her car in January, 2006.

She said the woman had owed Elliott money and as part of the deal over her debt she was to drive Elliott whenever he needed transport. (news)
